Deposits are non refundable. If a person cancels 4-6 weeks before departure there will be a 100% refund of the balance payment. If a person cancels 2-4 weeks before departure there will be 50% refund of the balance payment. If a person cancels within 2 weeks of departure there will be no refund. The 'balance payment' is the amount payable after the deposit is paid.

This is the Inca trail itinerary,
Day 1: Cusco – Hatunchaca
Walking time: 4-5 hours
Low altitude: 2600m
High altitude: 2900m
Camp altitude: 2900m
Pick up very early from the hotel in Cusco for a 82km drive to the start of the trek. Today we will see Patallacta, our first archaeological site. This site and others will show the importance of this valley in the context of Incan history. After lunch we will continue ascending to a semi tropical valley until our arrival in camp at Hatunchaca.
Day 2: Hatunchaca – Pacaymayo
Distance: 16.5 km
Walking time: 7-8 hours
Low altitiude: 2900m
High altitude: 4215m
Camp altitude: 3636m
We will start hiking early today, passing through different climatic and ecological zones. We will ascend to Warmiwanusca. We will walk amongst abundant vegetation with various tree types. This pass is known by many as the worlds highest cloud forest. After ascending for 5 hours we will arrive at Dead Woman`s pass. After a rest we will descend to our camp at Pacaymayo.
Day 3: Pacaymayo – Phuyupatamarka
Walking time: 6-8 hours

High altitude: 3900m

This morning we will climb steeply towards the second pass. About halfway up is a small, round, roofless building known as Runkuracay. This building is thought to have been an astrological site.After a short tour we will continue to the second pass, the Abra de Runkuracay. At the far side of the pass we descend towards a valley and a lake. At this point the trail changes from dirt to a narrow stone road that was used by the Incas. We will then come to another Inca site, Sayacmarca. After a tour of the site we will descend to the valley floor to have lunch. After lunch we will ascend to the third pass and visit Phuyupatamarca( “Cloud level town”) This is where we will camp for the night.
Day 4: Phuyupatamarka – Puente Ruinas
Walking hours: 6-8 hours
Low altitude: 2030m
High altitude: 3640m
Camp altitude: 2030m
After breakfast we will descend for 2.5 hours to Intipata with it`s huge farming terraces. Then we descend to Winaywaina(2650m) to have lunch. The name means “eternally young”. After lunch we will continue to the Sungate, this will take an hour. This is where we will have our first view ofMachu Picchu. We will descend towards Machu Picchu where we will take pictures and rest before getting a bus to the camp at Puente Ruinas.
Day 5: Puente Ruinas – Machu Picchu – Cusco
We will wake very early to get the bus to Machu Picchu, where we will be the first visitors of the day. The guide will take us around for 2-3 hours, after which you will have free time to explore the city on your own. In the afternoon we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes to board the train to Cusco.
