"A mountain chain rising in the heart of Italy and a territory where local nature, history, and culture have contributed in defining a unique and wonderful place. Here, in the kingdom of the mythical Sibilla, Monti Sibillini National Park was established in 1993 (with over 70,000 ha), with the aim to safeguard the environment, promote a social and economic sustainable development, and favor the creation of a "Park for everyone". The Wolf, the Golden Eagle, the Peregrine, and a number of endemic species are the most evident elements of a biological richness which, along with the charm of the abbeys and the medieval historical town centers lying in a crown at the foot of the mountains, have shaped an old and fascinating world where time has stopped to honour extraordinary beauty.

Our unique week long package has the right blend of activity and relaxation as well as a 2 hour cooking lesson with the hotel owners mother.

We will be staying at the Hotel Paradiso in Amandola, which is run by Oreste, grandson of the founder, who continues the proud tradition of this family run hotel.

Amandola is situated at the NorthEast border of the strikingly beautiful Monti Sibillini National Park. In the park you will find some resources that are unfortunately becoming rare nowadays: clean air, unspoiled nature, and numerous species of wild animals and plants. The highland plateau in the vicinity of Amandola becomes a carpet of wild flowers in May and June. Wild-life-enthusiasts might catch a rare glimps of buzzards, kestrels, peregrines, golden eagles, wildcats, porcupines, wild boar and the Appenine wolf.
